The Dutch dominate the Voorburg leg of the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two 2023-27, winning all their four matches against USA and Canada to move to the top of the points table
Netherlands remained unbeaten in the Voorburg leg of the ICC Cricket World Cup League Two 2023-27, to maintain top spot in the points table featuring eight teams.
The Dutch, in the latest series, defeated both Canada and United States of America twice each to keep a clean record.
They now have 12 points from eight matches through six wins. They have lost two matches.
Scotland are second in the table with nine points from seven matches while Canada are third with eight points from eight matches.
Namibia are fourth with eight points from eight matches.
The top four advance directly to the 2027 Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
The bottom four advance to the 2027 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off. At the moment, United States of America, Oman, Nepal, and United Arab Emirates are the bottom four. However, they have played half or less than half of the games, the top four have played.
In the Voorburg leg, Netherlands defeated Canada by five wickets on August 11, defeated USA by 19 runs on August 15, beat Canada by 63 runs on August 17, and beat USA by 27 runs on August 21.
The United States of America won both their matches against Canada, first by 14 runs and the second by 50 runs.
