India's last group stage match against Canada in Florida was abandoned due to wet outfield

India finished their 2024 T20 World Cup campaign on top of the points table despite their last match against Canada getting abandoned without a ball being bowled in Lauderhill, Florida.

The Rohit Sharma-led side finished with seven points, following three wins – against Ireland, Pakistan and USA, to maintain pole position before proceeding to the Super 8s stage.

USA are the other team to qualify from the Group A, moving ahead with five points.

Canada, Pakistan and Ireland have been eliminated. Pakistan play Ireland at the same venue on June 16.

India now face Afghanistan, Australia and one of Netherlands and Bangladesh in the Super 8s stage.
